Gate Access
Access Protocols
The CVC Metro District Directors have recently discussed the community gate access protocols and decided to take advantage of an opportunity to dramatically improve awareness of who is in the community at any given time. Select cameras and other public safety infrastructure support will also receive capital upgrades.
Transcore System
Both license plate readers and transponders expire when the battery life is exhausted. When this occurs, property owners can purchase an eGo sticker which will be programed with the same functionality as the license plate readers and transponders. There is a one-time $25 fee per vehicle for eGo stickers. Existing proximity cards do not function with the new TransCore system. Property owners with proximity cards can turn them in at the Cordillera Administration Offices for proper disposal. Day passes will be issued at the gates for property owner guests. Gate staff records vehicle license plate numbers and destinations for every day pass issued.
