Elections
Colorado Special Districts (including Cordillera Valley Club Metropolitan District) are required to hold Director elections for the District’s Board of Directors in May of odd numbered years.
The next Director’s election is scheduled for May 6, 2025. Anyone interested in learning more about the District, or becoming a Director, is encouraged to attend Director’s meetings. These meetings are open to the public.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and, particularly, to the electors of the Cordillera Valley Club Metropolitan District of Eagle County, Colorado.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, three directors will be elected to serve four-year terms, and one director will be elected to serve a two-year term. Eligible electors of the Cordillera Valley Club Metropolitan District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District Designated Election Official (DEO): Erin McCauley, erin@mwcpaa.com or 970-926-6060 x2.
The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance is close of business on Friday, February 28, 2025 (not less than 67 days before the election). Affidavit of Intent To Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the designated election official by the close of business on Monday, March 3rd, 2025 (the sixty-fourth day before the election).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for an absentee ballot shall be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business on Tuesday preceding the election, April 29, 2025. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Designated Election Official by 7:00 p.m. on election day.

Candidates
All candidates must file a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form with the Designated Election Official between January and February of the election year.
In order to be eligible to run for a Board seat a person must be an “eligible elector” in the District which is defined as a registered voter of Colorado and either:
- A resident of the District for not less than 30 days, or
- The owner (or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District, or
- A person obligated to pay taxes under a contract of purchase taxable property.
