Election Information

Colorado Special Districts (including Cordillera Valley Club Metropolitan District) are required to hold Director elections for the District’s Board of Directors in May of even numbered years. 

The next Director’s election is scheduled for May of 2023.  Anyone interested in learning more about the District, or becoming a Director, is encouraged to attend Director’s meetings.  These meetings are open to the public. 

2023 MAY REGULAR ELECTION

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF REGULAR ELECTION BY THE DESIGNATED ELECTION OFFICIAL FOR THE CORDILLERA VALLEY CLUB METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Cordillera Valley Club Metropolitan District, Eagle County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third (63rd) day before the election or thereafter there were not more candidates for Director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023, is hereby cancelled.

The following candidates are declared elected:

Jeff Lamb                   Four Year Term
Tom Jaffe                   Four Year Term

Candidates

All candidates must file a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form with the Designated Election Official between January and February of the election year. 

In order to be eligible to run for a Board seat a person must be an “eligible elector” in the District which is defined as a registered voter of Colorado and either:

 1. A resident of the District for not less than 30 days, or

2. The owner ( or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District, or

3. A person obligated to pay taxes under a contract of purchase taxable property.
